About the role

  • As a Business Consultant (m/f/x), you act as the central interface between the business division and IT.
  • Advise our divisions and companies on digital transformation initiatives and ensure effective business–IT alignment.
  • Analyze and optimize business processes, promoting best practices in one or two of the following areas: customer service, logistics & warehousing, and quality management.
  • Coordinate initiatives to develop conceptual (pre-)studies to recommend a comprehensive strategy for achieving company objectives.
  • Collaborate with business partners to define and document IT requirements.
  • Support IT projects from requirements gathering through to implementation.
  • Assist in the selection of new IT solutions.
  • Conduct workshops and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Domain Architects, Demand Managers and Solution Architects.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or a comparable qualification
  • Solid knowledge in at least one of the business areas: Production
  • Several years of consulting experience
  • Experience in process analysis and modeling (e.g., BPMN)
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Analytical mindset and a structured way of working
  • Fluent in German and English; any additional European language at B1 level or higher is an advantage.
