About the role

  • Act as the primary interface between the business and IT
  • Advise divisions and companies on digital transformation initiatives and ensure effective business‑IT alignment across the specified domains
  • Drive the development and implementation of business strategies for the HR domain from an IT perspective in close alignment with executive leadership
  • Identify and assess new IT trends and technologies to enable business opportunities and foster innovation
  • Oversee the activities of all IT units within the HR domain
  • Contribute to transformation initiatives and manage the portfolio of requirements, projects, and services across the HR business domain
  • Lead change management initiatives using structured methodologies and address barriers and organizational silos
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including executive leadership) and facilitate decision‑making processes
  • Ensure compliance with governance guidelines and risk management processes
  • Initiate and steer innovation and digitalization projects, evaluating and validating new ideas, technologies, and trends
  • Facilitate process workshops and ensure sustainable, transparent documentation
  • Mentor consulting staff and architects, promoting collaboration and professional development
  • Represent the company at conferences, industry forums, and through thought leadership activities

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in IT strategy and consulting in a similar role (e.g., Business Consultant, Business Partner) within an international environment or a larger mid‑sized company in related business areas (HR domain)
  • Proven experience managing complex tasks in a global business environment
  • Advanced problem‑solving skills with a holistic, technology‑agnostic perspective, enabling strategic clarity and cross‑domain insights
  • Ability to influence decision‑making without formal authority by providing clear direction grounded in technical feasibility, cost‑effectiveness, and business impact
  • Strategic thinking and strong business understanding across the end‑to‑end domain; cross‑functional mindset and solution conceptualization
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement, particularly with C‑Suite level executives
  • Advisory and facilitation skills (including presentation skills)
  • Adaptability and commitment to continuous learning; staying current with industry trends and regulatory changes
  • Proficient at communicating with C‑Suite executives
  • Must reside in Germany (no sponsorship provided)
  • Fluent in German and English; proficiency in another European language at B2 level is a plus
