About the role
- Administrative processing of shipping transactions
- Coordination of logistics service providers
- Planning outbound and return deliveries according to orders
- Notifying carriers of shipments
- Preparation of shipping documentation
- Handling customs formalities and carrying out special customs procedures in compliance with dangerous goods regulations
- Monitoring the receipt of documents and data for air and sea freight
- Overseeing timely and correct order processing
- Supporting the shipping system in cooperation with IT
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an Industrial Clerk (Industriekaufmann), Freight Forwarding Agent (Speditionskaufmann) or similar qualification
- Experience in shipping or logistics
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Structured and independent working style
- High quality awareness and team-oriented approach
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
