About the role
- Responsible for overall program planning, milestones and dependencies
- Coordinate the functional Domain Owners
- Ensure consistent priorities and interfaces between teams
- Work with the PMO to further develop processes and standards
- Establish clear communication and reporting formats
- Promote collaboration between divisions and international sites
- Establish effective early-warning and risk management
- Prepare and present regular status reports to steering and executive boards
- Responsible for managing the program budget and aligning resources
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- At least 5–10 years of experience in project or program management of complex software developments
- Experience in mechanical engineering, embedded systems or related industries is advantageous
- Broad understanding of modern software development, ideally in machine control, connectivity, diagnostics, CI/CD or IoT
- Ability to grasp complex relationships and bring experts together
- Experience in functional leadership without disciplinary authority (matrix leadership)
- Strong skills in facilitation, conflict resolution and communication
- Experience in process optimization
- Confident communication in English and German
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 30%)
