About the role
- Lead quality assurance for flight control
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for assigned staff
- Fulfill the production program across multiple manufacturing sections
- Ensure delivery performance, adherence to deadlines, and quality while maintaining cost-effectiveness
- Organize and improve the deployment of personnel, machines, materials, and equipment
- Coordinate staffing requirements
- Take on project management for the design and redesign of work systems and production processes, including the introduction of new technologies
Requirements
- Successfully completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or a comparable qualification, plus certified further training as a Meister (master craftsman) or alternatively as a technician
- Many years of experience in machining; competence with measuring machines is desirable
- Good English skills
- Assertiveness and strong execution skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as leadership qualities
- Good knowledge of MS Office programs
- Independent working style
