About the role
- Lead the development or modification of equipment across all phases of its lifecycle
- Capture, analyze, challenge and translate customer requirements
- Manage technical and budgetary proposals with the various stakeholders
- Propose the product that meets the customer’s needs
- Define and implement the strategy for the equipment development plan
- Plan the project team’s activities
- Drive technical decisions to optimize the equipment
- Identify risks and opportunities and lead risk mitigation plans
- Draft and validate the product specification with key stakeholders
- Manage TRL (Technology Readiness Level) progression in line with the Product vision
- Contribute to building the product vision and deploy it in accordance with company strategy
- Analyze the technical and economic competitiveness of products and identify possible evolutions
- Propose process and organizational improvements based on lessons learned
Requirements
- General engineering degree with a focus on mechanical/energy engineering
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of product development and quality processes: DO-160, ARP454, as well as project management methodologies
- As a leader, comfortable with cross-functional management and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams
- Fluent English is required
