About the role

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for emerging technologies in targeted industrial sectors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with TDF consumers.
  • Contract negotiation on business terms for both existing and new customers in the TDF and emerging technology sectors.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure profitable and sustainable partnerships.
  • Conduct market research to assess trends, pricing, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the efficient production, logistics, and delivery of materials.
  • If necessary, assist Liberty’s Director of Environmental Compliance on any environmental and regulatory requirements related to TDF use.
  • Educate potential clients on the benefits and cost-effectiveness of TDF as alternative fuel.
  • Monitor key performance metrics related to TDF sales and distribution.
  • Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to ensure reliable product availability.
  • Assist in managing sales budgets and financial projections for business growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in waste-to-energy, alternative fuels, or industrial markets.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of TDF, waste-to-energy, or alternative fuel markets is highly preferred.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with EPA, state environmental regulations, and sustainability policies related to tire recycling and alternative fuels.
  • Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to travel as needed for business development and client meetings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in business development, preferably in the waste and recycling industry or alternative fuels sector.
