About the role

  • You identify and structure R&D projects with regard to their funding eligibility, advise on suitable programs and tax instruments such as the research allowance, and support the application process from the initial concept outline through to approval.
  • You understand our clients' business in detail and actively drive it forward (taking ownership) to achieve milestones in a timely manner.
  • You support our Business Development team at client meetings as a technical expert and know how to present complex technologies and innovations convincingly—technically sound and with a clear business benefit.
  • You work in a goal-oriented way and consistently keep an eye on your KPIs as well as the deadlines for funding applications.

Requirements

  • You hold a completed degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics or similar) and have a strong technical understanding.
  • You bring at least 2–3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in consulting or technical project management.
  • You are not a theoretician but a strong communicator, accustomed to driving projects forward independently and at pace.
  • Experience with funding applications is an advantage—however, the key requirement is the ability to present complex technical and scientific matters precisely and in a structured manner.
  • Fluent German and English skills.
