About the role
- Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure the implementation and maintenance of Xerox's enterprise network infrastructure and security policies.
- Document procedures, coordinate implementations, and eliminate barriers to achieve desired outcomes.
- Liaise with other IT operation teams to resolve any network-related issues.
- Develop and maintain the global network architecture roadmap aligned with business objectives and future growth.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions across diverse environments including R&D labs, manufacturing plants, and corporate offices.
- Ensure alignment of network design with enterprise IT and security standards and best practices.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical oversight for network-related projects across regions.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture and security teams to ensure integration and compliance.
- Evaluate emerging network technologies and recommend appropriate solutions to support evolving business needs.
- Work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, application, and business teams to translate requirements into network capabilities.
- Manage relationships with key network vendors and service providers; participate in technology evaluations and contract reviews.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of network architectures, diagrams, and standards.
- Ensure designs comply with internal and external security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR).
- Mentor junior engineers and operational teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related field
- 5-8 years of network and security experience
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN, Public Cloud, Wireless, and VoIP networking technologies.
- Knowledge of routing protocols to include Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), and Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP).
- Knowledge of network services, including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, SNMP, IPSec, NetFlow.
- Knowledge of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Network Access Control (NAC) technologies.
- Knowledge of scripting, automation, and DevOps functions including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC).
- Experience configuring Zscaler, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Cisco, Infoblox, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Juniper, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies.
- Experience using Python programming language.
- Familiar with NIST CSF, CIS, and ISO 27001 information security frameworks.
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage multiple priorities with proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.
- Strong ability in multiple technologies, analytical techniques, and leadership skills.
- Familiar with IT operational processes (Event, Incident, Change, Problem, ITSM), development frameworks (Agile, SAFe), and service management frameworks (ITIL).
