About the role
- Translate business priorities and product strategy into compelling, repeatable video formats that support brand, demand generation, and customer engagement goals.
- Ideate and script original content including product promotional videos, executive and employee storytelling, explainer videos, branded campaigns, and documentary-style pieces.
- Serve as creative lead on video projects from concept through delivery.
- Own the full production lifecycle: creative brief development, scripting, pre-production planning, producing/directing, and overseeing post-production.
- Manage external production houses, agencies, and freelance talent to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Partner closely with Product, Technology, Communications, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align messaging and ensure technical accuracy.
- Build and manage a scalable pipeline of video assets. Develop templates, playbooks, production guidelines, and standardized workflows to enable efficiency and consistency.
- Establish and maintain a vetted network of freelance editors, motion designers, and production partners.
- Set the standard for AI-integrated video workflows within marketing.
- Test, evaluate, and recommend emerging AI tools to enhance production efficiency while maintaining high creative quality.
- Create content optimized for digital and social platforms, with deep knowledge of platform-specific best practices, formats, trends, and algorithms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (area of specialization flexible).
- 5+ years of experience producing and developing digital video content, including:
- Product promotional videos
- Executive/employee storytelling
- Explainer videos
- Branded content
- Documentary-style pieces
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including:
- Premiere Pro (required)
- After Effects (required)
- Experience working with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., generative video, AI editing, motion graphics, voice synthesis) strongly preferred.
- Strong storytelling skills with demonstrated ability to translate complex ideas into engaging visual narratives.
- Knowledge of digital and social video best practices and distribution strategies.
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, and freelance talent.
- Outstanding organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
