About the role
- Meeting and exceeding assigned revenue goals and performance objectives
- Managing and growing a defined book of LexMachina accounts, including renewals, expansions, and new opportunities
- Negotiating and renegotiating contracts resulting in an aligned objective and long-term client success
- Planning and owning territory or account approach, and managing resources
- Developing solid relationships with key customer contacts and decision makers, including legal and executive stakeholders
- Delivering clear, compelling presentations to legal, operational, and executive-level audiences
- Maintaining accurate records of all sales activity, pipeline, and opportunity progress in CRM tools
- Collaborating cross-functionally to provide customer feedback, and convey market insights and sales initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales and account management within a B2B environment
- Demonstrated success negotiating contracts and closing business
- Have experience interacting with C-level corporate executives
- Have solid understanding and use of strategic selling techniques and CRM systems
- Have solid communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Be able to effectively partner and collaborate across teams and externally
- Be able to occasionally travel (less than 10% of the time).
