- Ensuring a safe, efficient, cost-effective, and high quality patient care environment.
- Recruiting, hiring, and overseeing orientation and training for all clinical and ancillary staff of the practice.
- Managing all aspects of clinical compliance, maximizing patient flow, and optimizing the work environment to facilitate open communication and professional excellence.
- Assessing needs; developing and implementing plan with Operations Director or Division Administrator approval for new procedures as necessary to improve office flow and overall operations often coordinating with inpatient departments.
- Developing, implementing and monitoring work plans with measurable outcomes paying attention to key indicators and making adjustments to meet desired outcomes
- Developing, implementing and reviewing clinical policies and procedures in conjunction with Medical Director and Operations Director or Division Administrator's approval
- Providing a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment for patients and employees, addressing concerns in a timely manner.
- Ensuring ancillary services are being provided to include, but not limited to, patient education, clinical nutrition services and social work assistance.
- Representing the clinical staff at various meetings and serving on committees as assigned
- Identifying, recruiting, and retaining top talent. Obtaining employee engagement and providing effective reward and recognition strategies to enhance employee retention.
- Meeting all requirements as defined by Lexington Medical Center’s policies including but not limited to completing yearly safety training, completing other mandatory classes, and meeting departmental attendance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- 3 Years of clinical experience during which supervisory experience was demonstrated
- Current RN license to practice in the state of South Carolina
- Maintains current CPR certification.

- Evaluates staff performance for probationary period and annual performance appraisals
- Reallocates staff among teams as needed to meet patient care needs
- Sets example for clinical staff by ensuring all personal certification and mandatory education requirements are met
