About the role
- Assists the Director of Nursing in the day-to-day leadership for the operations of patient care areas
- Promotes a practice environment that empowers others to provide effective, compassionate and efficient patient care
- Works with Director of Nursing and other nursing and non-nursing leaders to ensure quality services are provided to LMC patients and family members
- Identifies best practices and works with team to implement measures to continually improve patient care
- Able to problem solve / critically think through complex issues to determine best approach to resolve the situation
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing and a Masters in a healthcare related field
- 5 Years of experience in acute care, which includes a minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership/management position
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina; National nursing certification in specialty or must be acquired within 6 months of hire into the role
