Accounting Manager

• Lead the month-end close process
• Prepare and review journal entries
• Own accurate revenue recognition and AR for all customer contracts
• Responsible for assessing, documenting, and defending the company’s revenue recognition policies
• Track and validate contract milestones to support timely invoicing
• Design, implement, document, and oversee processes and internal controls
• Continuously improve and refine processes and procedures
• Ensure continuous improvement for our accounting systems environment
• Serve as the accounting lead for revenue-related system enhancements
• Lead the external annual financial statement audit
• Support cross-functional efforts
• Monitor sales commissions and properly account for them
• Complete monthly and quarterly sales tax reporting requirements
• Supervise and mentor an Accounts Payable Specialist.
