About the role
- Lead the Booking Center team (3 employees): supervision, administrative management (drafting contracts, terms and conditions, etc.), and budget management;
- Monitor and develop commercial activity: product design, pricing policy, go-to-market, and sales tracking;
- Optimize the department’s commercial performance by increasing revenue and margins in both winter and summer seasons;
- Maintain close relationships with all accommodation providers in the destination (professional operators and private owners): define commercial conditions, draft contracts, manage inventory, set pricing and commission rates, share sales strategies, and onboard private owners;
- Drive the B2B strategy (tour operators, company clients/works councils, agencies and resale partners): identification, negotiation, inventory management, and development of distribution channels;
- Oversee all communication materials (print and digital) and actively contribute to the development and deployment of the communications strategy, in close cooperation with the communications department;
- Lead the rental stock renovation project and the re-marketing of accommodations (labeling, incentive measures, opening the service to private owners, raising awareness of energy-efficient renovation, etc.);
- Manage the classification (rating) of furnished tourist accommodation across the destination;
- Establish and maintain relationships with activity providers;
- Improve the customer journey (before, during and after the stay) and commercial processes (increase average transaction value, grow revenue and margin, develop revenue with the SPL (local public company), etc.);
- Advise clients in finding accommodation and activities (recommendations, personalized quotes on request), and manage booking files (reservations / sale of add-on products, follow-ups, accounting management, etc.);
- Configure the software (enter accommodations, pricing, calendar management, etc.) and the booking website (create sections and landing pages, promote products, etc.);
- Improve website performance (usability, user experience, presentation, SEO, functionality, etc.).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) minimum in tourism, commerce, management or marketing.
- Professional experience in a similar role within a booking center (Tourist Office or ski area operator) or in hospitality.
- Proficiency with reservation management systems.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of yield management.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations.
- Experience managing customer communication tools.
