About the role
- Responsible for the strategic growth of support contracts across the Electronics Division managing complex, high-value business winning opportunities.
- External engagement with platform primes, OEMs, and end users in both the UK and overseas.
- Present detailed prospects to Business Winning Reviews to secure pursuit, bid and resourcing approvals.
- Develop bespoke win strategies and generate the price to win for individual campaigns.
- Write proposals for customers and assist with preparation of private venture investment business cases.
Requirements
- Good understanding of both the domestic and international defence and aerospace market.
- Experience and proven success in strategic selling and complex systems capture.
- Comfortable undertaking accurate and well-informed market and competitor analysis.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams to win business.
- Strong influencing skills to build relationships at all levels, including Embassies and Government Agencies that support exports.
- Security Clearance in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
