About the role
- Responsible for ensuring that DRS proposals are professional, high quality and reflect the high standards and objectives of the corporation.
- Manage and conduct proposal submissions in accordance with DRS Capture and Pursuit Process.
- Oversee the entire proposal process from pre-RFP preparation through solution preparation and writing to final publication and submission.
- Track all proposal efforts, including work from proposal managers, writers, solutions architects, pricers, contracts personnel, and administrative support teams.
- Develop the Proposal Plan and manage and coordinate RFP review.
Requirements
- 10+ years relevent experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Master’s degree is preferred
- Defense industry experience required
- Subject matter expertise and knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Effective team building approach
- Excellent oral and technical writing abilities
- U.S. Citizenship required
