About the role
- Manage the new home purchase process from initial customer contact to closing
- Conduct daily operations at Welcome Home Centers
- Process sale agreements and close sales in line with company business plans
- Engage and establish relationships with visitors to understand their home buying needs
- Self-generate sales leads through community engagement, realtor partnerships, and proactive prospecting
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of the competitive market, products, community features, and demographics
- Provide consistent follow-through with customers from initial contact to post-closing and maintain accurate communication records
- Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing programs
- Ensure maintenance of Welcome Home Center models and inventory homes
- Complete required training and participate in community events and phone banks
- Transport customers to various meetings and community visits as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree and real estate license preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience in homebuilding or real estate sales (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use sales tracking tools
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours
- Ability to work outdoors, walking in all weather conditions and on uneven surfaces
- Ability to take customers throughout the neighborhood and community
- Finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard and telephone equipment
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and materials up to 25 pounds
