About the role
- Define the product strategy and roadmap to impact our key company initiatives.
- Analyze data and research-driven insights to discover, assess and recommend opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional product initiatives to ship products and features that are valuable and usable to customers, feasible for engineering and viable for the business.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance and operations to drive go-to-market strategy.
- Increase the effectiveness of the Product Management department by identifying and improving processes and coaching/mentoring other PMs.
- Develop and maintain deep expertise of the Canadian mortgage industry, industry trends, and the competitive landscape as it pertains to the product.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management experience , owning complex product areas and delivering measurable customer and business impact.
- A highly strategic product mindset —you apply analytical rigor, make sound tradeoffs, and consistently deliver results at scale.
- Deep customer understanding , with the ability to shape product vision and roadmaps that solve real problems and create durable value.
- Proven ability to lead through ambiguity , independently defining problems, creating clarity, and translating complexity into executable plans.
- A strong product point of view , with the influence and judgment to align teams and partners around a shared direction.
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to deliver high-quality, end-to-end experiences.
- Experience working with AI tools to as part of your product practices.
- Proven experience contributing to the development of AI-powered features.
- Prompt development skills are considered a strong asset.
- Exceptional communication skills , using clear written and verbal storytelling to drive alignment and better decision-making.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders , balancing competing priorities while maintaining ownership, accountability, and focus on outcomes.
- Strong business acumen , including evaluating opportunities, defining success metrics, and owning or contributing to go-to-market strategy.
