About the role
- Lead electric utility project execution teams with a diverse set of contributors
- Take ownership of overall portfolio performance, including cost, schedule, and scope management
- Interface with clients and internal stakeholders to address issues, report progress, and mitigate risks
- Mentor and develop project management staff, fostering collaboration and continuous learning
- Manage monthly client invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable processes
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities to support growth
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and quality control standards
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders including clients and project teams
- Identify project risks and mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field
- A minimum of 3+ years of progressive Project Management experience within the Electric Utility Industry
- Demonstrated Experience with US Electric Utilities
- Direct experience with electric power infrastructure projects
- Supervisory experience including team building and talent acquisition
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on portfolio management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to travel periodically as required
- Proficiency utilizing Primavera P6 or MS Project suite with emphasis on Microsoft Excel
- Proven knowledge of PowerPlan enterprise project performance software preferred
- Previous experience working with Louisville Gas & Electric and Kentucky Utilities preferred
