Support automation and process improvement as part of the US Navy SMIT MC&O Team
Work directly with MC&O leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance and integrate internal tools
Streamline workflows
Leverage AI to automate manual processes where applicable
Enhance and integrate reporting tools, automation and AI
Maintain and enhance internally developed tools
Develop or support tools that analyze data to identify similar or analogous tasks
Conduct targeted research on technical services to support automation

Requirements

Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and macros
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task, self-assign work, and operate in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Candidates must be US citizen able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance as a condition of employment
Experience with JavaScript, Visual Basic/VBA, and/or Python (Preferred)
Experience applying AI or generative AI tools to business or analytical problems (Preferred)
Familiarity with Salesforce, Power BI, SharePoint, or similar platforms (Preferred)
Experience working with automation tools, data repositories, or legacy systems (Preferred)
