About the role

  • Lead the design and implementation of highly available, enterprise-grade AWS environments utilizing EC2, EKS, RDS, and VPC architectures
  • Direct the migration of TWS components from on-premises platforms to AWS-native solutions
  • Define and enforce global standards for job scheduling, workload streams, dependencies, and disaster recovery
  • Act as the final escalation point for critical production incidents involving AWS infrastructure and complex TWS scheduling issues
  • Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform and/or Ansible
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid-level administrators and engineers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or platform engineering roles
  • Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on AWS experience, including leadership of complex enterprise initiatives
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional preferred
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments
  • Strong scripting skills using Python and/or Bash
  • Experience with automation and configuration tools such as Ansible or AWS CloudFormation
  • Experience designing enterprise batch scheduling solutions
