About the role

  • responsible for developing in scalable cloud-native solutions
  • ensuring best practices across architecture, development, deployment, and security
  • perform systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, and requirements allocation for cloud and hybrid environments.
  • design, implement, and support scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • support cloud architecture design activities, including evaluation of technical alternatives, cost, risk, and supportability.
  • develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • deploy, configure, integrate, and support applications in cloud environments.
  • assist with containerization and orchestration using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • support cloud environment performance, availability, scalability, and reliability.
  • assist with system integration, verification, validation, and testing activities.
  • implement and support security best practices, including identity and access management, logging, monitoring, and vulnerability remediation.
  • monitor system health and assist with troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
  • support cloud modernization efforts, including migration of legacy systems and adoption of cloud-native services.
  • create and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • collaborate with developers, operations, security, and customer stakeholders to support solution design and implementation.
  • coach and provide technical guidance to junior engineers as needed.
  • follow established engineering, DevOps/ DevSecOps, and quality assurance processes and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 2–6 years of relevant experience.
  • Secret Security Clearance required
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (IAT Level II).
  • Hands-on experience supporting cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, or DevOps/ DevSecOps tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development practices.
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and version control tools (Git).
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
