About the role

  • Execute technical design and engineering tasks for high-voltage transmission lines
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
  • Perform engineering analyses, including PLS-CADD modeling and structure loading calculations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement goals by learning and applying new technical tools
  • Communicate project progress with the Project Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in electric utility transmission system design
  • Experience using PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities
  • EIT or PE certification is desirable
  • Experience with TOWER, LPILE or FAD, Mathcad, AutoCAD or MicroStation, and GIS is a plus
