About the role

  • Support a large electric utility client in the Pacific Northwestern US
  • Drive creative Project Management Solutions for utility client
  • Work closely with Telecommunications and SCADA Project Managers
  • Create and maintain project forecasts
  • Track project materials, complete project accruals, track project spends and financials
  • Develop, monitor and maintain engineering and construction project budgets for various sized projects
  • Ensure forecasts and costs are aligned using earned value management techniques
  • Partner with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, Managers, and other stakeholders
  • Support project teams with material tracking
  • Produce schedule weekly/monthly project control reports
  • Interfacing directly with the client to report progress, schedule, and risks

Requirements

  • Mid-Level: 4-7 years of relevant project controls experience
  • Senior-Level: 7-10 years of relevant project controls experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or a closely related discipline is required
  • Demonstrated experience managing and reporting project financial performance, budgets and cost controls
  • Must have the capability to plan, organize, direct, and track technical efforts on project tasks
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
