About the role
- Support a large electric utility client in the Pacific Northwestern US
- Drive creative Project Management Solutions for utility client
- Work closely with Telecommunications and SCADA Project Managers
- Create and maintain project forecasts
- Track project materials, complete project accruals, track project spends and financials
- Develop, monitor and maintain engineering and construction project budgets for various sized projects
- Ensure forecasts and costs are aligned using earned value management techniques
- Partner with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, Managers, and other stakeholders
- Support project teams with material tracking
- Produce schedule weekly/monthly project control reports
- Interfacing directly with the client to report progress, schedule, and risks
Requirements
- Mid-Level: 4-7 years of relevant project controls experience
- Senior-Level: 7-10 years of relevant project controls experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or a closely related discipline is required
- Demonstrated experience managing and reporting project financial performance, budgets and cost controls
- Must have the capability to plan, organize, direct, and track technical efforts on project tasks
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
