About the role
- Lead electric utility project execution teams with diverse contributors
- Take ownership of overall portfolio performance, including cost, schedule, and scope management
- Interface with clients and internal stakeholders to address issues, report progress, and mitigate risks
- Mentor and develop project management staff
- Manage monthly client invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable processes
- Identify business development opportunities to support organizational growth
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and quality control standards
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders
- Identify project risks and mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field
- A minimum of 3+ years of progressive Project Management experience within the Electric Utility Industry
- Demonstrated Experience working with US Electric Utilities
- Direct experience working with electric power infrastructure projects
- Supervisory experience including team building and talent acquisition
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on portfolio management and team development
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to travel periodically as required
- Proficiency utilizing MS Project suite with a heavy emphasis on Microsoft Excel
