💰 $65,650 - $118,675 per year

About the role

  • Maintaining Instrument Approach Procedures (IAP) data for current and pending approved, and suspended procedures
  • Verifying the information in the database matches the publications in the 28- and 56-day publication cycles
  • Providing updated information for Airports, Runways, Special Instrument Approach Procedures (IAP’s), Navigational Aids (NAVAIDs), Airways, EnRoute Instrument Flight Procedure (IFP) updates, Departure Procedures, Standard Terminal Arrivals (STARs)
  • Assisting with obstacle position verification
  • Maintaining records of actions processed through the IFP Impact Team
  • Participating in IFP Impact Team meetings and supporting as needed via notes and reports

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics, Aviation, or Air Traffic Control
  • 4 or more years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Airspace and Procedures background (Instrument Flight Procedures)
  • Air Traffic Control Experience (FAA, Contractor or Military)
  • Commercial Instrument Rated Pilot (Military or Civilian)
  • Certified Instrument Flight Instructor
  • Previous experience with FAA or DoD terminal instrument procedures (TERPS)
