Lead a team of engineers to fulfill the software data transport requirements in support of data exchanges across the tenant application in a large-scale cloud hosting environment.
Design, develop, test, troubleshoot and debug the software data transport system.
Analyze software requirements and ensure that the software data transport system is fulfilling the mission.
Evaluate tools and products to improve the software data transport system.
Maintain the infrastructure and platforms necessary for the software data transport system.
Maintain, develop, and operate interfaces for tenant applications within the highly available Data Transport service for DISA STRAT US environments.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize the data flow through the Data Transport Services.
Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity frameworks including DISA STIGs, NIST 800-53, and RMF.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and application teams to support secure mission delivery.
Maintain detailed documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Promote continuous improvement through feedback loops and process refinement.
Ensure alignment with mission priorities and Leidos delivery standards.
Design message flows for any new required services using the EAI/ESB.
Develop and deploy integration services, routes, and orchestration logic.
Support deployments, patches, and platform upgrades.
Enforce integration standards and naming conventions.
Support audit and compliance requirements through logging and traceability.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Present architectural designs and recommendations to executive leadership.
Mentor, guide and supervise teams for data transport-related activities.
Lead reviews and provide guidance on complex technical decisions.
Prepare detailed technical documentation to support development and operational processes.
Collaborate with team members and provide mentorship to junior staff, fostering a learning environment.
Act as the Data Transport manager to assess employee performance, hire new employees, and ensure compliance with corporate training requirements.

Requirements

Bachelors and 12 + years of experience; Masters and 10 + years of experience.
Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Interim Secret clearance required to start; Ability to obtain Secret clearance required to maintain employment.
US citizenship required.
Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2).
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Strong documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience working with technical teams in cloud, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT environments.
Familiarity with tools such as Harbor, Jenkins, Rancher to support data transport implementations.
