About the role
- Design and lead the development of innovative, compelling, and differentiated AI-powered solutions for strategic captures, proposals, and client engagements.
- Partner with Business Development and line organizations to provide expert technical leadership throughout the capture lifecycle, including developing white papers, responding to RFIs, and leading technical volumes.
- Collaborate with customers, data scientists, engineers, and program managers to ensure solution designs meet mission requirements, are technically feasible, and align with strategic objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend new AI technologies, tools, and partner capabilities to incorporate into solution designs, ensuring Leidos maintains a competitive edge.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the practical application of AI for customer missions, presenting technical solutions to clients, partners, and internal executive stakeholders.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with customer security requirements and incorporate principles of Responsible AI and risk management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with 15+ years of professional experience, or a Master's degree with 13+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing and architecting end-to-end technical solutions for complex customer missions, particularly in the U.S. Government space.
- Proven experience as a solution architect or technical volume lead on major captures and proposals.
- Expert-level understanding of the AI/ML landscape, including Large Language Models (LLMs), MLOps, and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Substantial understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), data engineering, and software development as they apply to AI solutions.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
