About the role
- Assist in conducting user research through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and usability testing.
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the creation of user personas, journey maps, and other research artifacts to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success.
- Analyze product usage data using tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar to identify areas for optimization.
- Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark product features and user experiences against industry standards.
- Work with UX designers to translate research findings into actionable design recommendations.
- Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize potential solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that research findings and product insights are effectively implemented.
- Stay updated on UX and product analysis trends, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience) with 2+ years experience in UX research, product analysis, or a related role.
- Basic knowledge of UX research methods, usability testing, and data analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Proficient in navigating electronic systems, computer programs, and virtual service platforms.
- Requires a separate, quiet, private, confidential space to work from as well as having access to your own reliable high-speed internet hard wired to your home or apartment (coax or fiber from the Internet Service Provider (ISP) to your home.
- Must be an U.S. citizen, speak fluent English, and able to maintain and retain suitability investigation and clearance as required.
