About the role

  • Leads strategic initiatives to drive performance improvement, enable impactful business transformations, and support successful integration of Jefferson's operations.
  • Works closely with clinical, academic, and administrative leaders to ensure initiatives align with organizational objectives, standardize processes, streamline interdependencies, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support executive leadership by providing recommendations, preparing updates for the executive leadership team, and implementing innovative, growth-oriented strategic and AI projects.
  • Collaborate with the executive leadership and other leaders to develop and execute the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Develop and lead initiatives to improve operational margins, ensuring alignment with clinical, operational, and financial goals.
  • Help standardize processes and frameworks for existing and new margin improvement efforts across the organization.
  • Streamline overlap and interdependencies between various initiatives to optimize resources, eliminate redundancies, and maximize impact.
  • Work collaboratively with Jefferson’s Performance Integration Management Office (PIMO) to support and enhance existing integration initiatives related to LVHN merger.
  • Assist in identifying and addressing operational gaps, risks, and opportunities within integration efforts.
  • Partner with PIMO leadership to develop strategies and frameworks that facilitate seamless cultural and operational integration.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to align operational and financial initiatives with Jefferson’s mission.
  • Help bridge business transformation initiatives and Jefferson’s clinical stakeholders to foster collaboration, drive engagement, and ensure successful execution.
  • Support the development of operational frameworks that integrate clinical care delivery and academic priorities with financial sustainability.
  • Work closely with Jefferson IS&T team to identify, evaluate, and implement potential new initiatives and business opportunities.
  • Lead ideation and strategic planning to refine and develop clinically integrated, tech-enabled solution offerings.
  • Drive innovation by fostering collaboration between AI solutions and core operations.
  • Collaborate with Jefferson’s executive team to draft board presentations, providing updates on integration progress and transformation initiatives.
  • Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to inform executive decision-making.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader to senior leadership on matters related to business transformation and integration.
  • Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams to execute transformation and integration initiatives effectively.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across departments.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Adminstration or equivalent
  • 7 years in healthcare business transformation, operational improvement, or clinical care delivery
  • Proven track record of leading margin improvement and financial performance enhancement initiatives at complex health systems.
  • Strong background in working with clinical and executive leadership to align strategic initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to standardize processes, identify interdependencies, and streamline initiatives for maximum efficiency.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including clinicians, academics, and administrators.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting board presentations and executive-level reports.
  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with a focus on fostering collaboration and accountability.
