About the role
- Own the annual advertising revenue plan, including direct-sold sponsorships and custom solutions
- Identify and capitalize on new revenue opportunities aligned with advertiser demand (e.g., insurance, financial planning, healthcare, senior services)
- Develop and execute strategies to increase yield across multiple formats and platforms
- Develop deep relationships with major advertisers, agencies, charities and other areas of opportunity
- Lead high-level negotiations for multi-channel partnerships, including branded content, native ads, email sponsorships, and custom integrations
- Represent Legacy.com at industry events, conferences, and meetings with C-level stakeholders
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to develop new ad units, premium ad experiences, and sponsorship offerings
- Oversee pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, reporting, and CRM discipline
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, publisher sales, or ad-tech revenue leadership
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in a high-volume or premium publisher environment
- Familiarity with programmatic advertising
- Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise advertisers and agencies
- Strong management skills with experience leading or growing a sales organization
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities
