About the role
- Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of network and security infrastructure
- Handle routine change requests on networking and firewall devices
- Maintain security auditing tools & review vulnerability reports
- Collaborate with team, partners, and vendors for best practices in SaaS environment
- Serve as the technical leader for network and security projects
- Participate in compliance and security audits
- Serve as a member of the 24/7 Response Team and participate in on-call rotations
Requirements
- Experience managing network projects
- Strong technical background in networking and security
- Understand and be able to support high availability networks
- Deep understanding of security and networking best practices
- Well versed in subnet masking, VLANs, NAT
- Well versed in routing configurations (BGP, static, etc)
- Hands-on experience with firewall technologies, WAFs, and IDS/IPS
- Experience using a variety of security auditing tools
- Capability of creating and organizing great documentation
- Capable of performing network analysis and proactive monitoring
