About the role

  • Perform Routine Duties requiring use of a variety of Practices and Procedures in general accounting, Accounts Receivable and Payable and Payroll.
  • Create Journal Entries for Misc. Cash, Property Tax, Prepaids, Salary Bonus, Fixed Assets, Depreciation, and Intercompany Payments and receipts.
  • Do monthly reconciliations of all Accounts as assigned.
  • Prepare consolidated Netting Report.
  • Prepare and verify Payroll for Hourly employees weekly in Kronos.
  • Provide support for Physical Inventory.
  • Prepare and Champion Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and submission.
  • Prepare annual User Reviews.
  • Book all charges from Corporate to the General Ledger at month end.
  • Prepare and maintain standard product pricing.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED Required, Associates Degree in Accounting or Bachelors, preferred.
  • 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office 360.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bonus If You Have:
  • Experience with QAD software
  • Experience with PeopleSoft system
  • Experience using Kronos.
