About the role

  • Accounts receivable accounting
  • Management of open items
  • Balance reconciliations with debtors
  • Review of credit notes and charges
  • Independent management, monitoring and maintenance of customer accounts, including coordination with Sales and customers (optimizing the aging profile of receivables)
  • Processing of customer payments, including clarification of discrepancies
  • Dunning/collections
  • Accounts payable accounting
  • Support for the Shared Service Center in Brno
  • Preparation of accounts payable payment runs
  • Fixed assets accounting
  • Management of fixed assets accounting (posting additions, disposals and transfers)
  • Posting of depreciation
  • Reconciliation of asset accounts with the general ledger
  • Carrying out asset inventories in cooperation with all departments
  • General ledger accounting
  • Month-end and year-end closing entries
  • Master data maintenance in the general ledger and subledgers
  • Support for external and internal audits
  • Implementation of new tax laws and monitoring compliance
  • Payments/treasury
  • Preparation of figures for the cash forecast to report to Treasury
  • Intercompany netting
  • Reconciliation of assets with the general ledger
  • Tasks under the Sarbanes‑Oxley framework
  • Compliance with all Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements and the LEAP manual
  • Conducting quarterly testing
  • Special tasks as required
  • Maintenance of the internal process landscape

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting
  • Experience with SAP accounting software
  • Careful, structured working style and strong numerical understanding
  • Experience in preparing month-end and year-end closings, or willingness to be trained
  • Good skills in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Team player with strong communication skills and high reliability
  • Completed commercial vocational training, ideally with a focus on accounting
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting or finance and accounting
  • Independent, reliable and solution-oriented working approach
