About the role
- Represent the sales department's interests as a permanent member of each project's core team
- Review inquiries, quotations and orders
- Acquire follow-up orders by preparing comprehensive base offers and coordinating costs and unit prices with Development, including use of the central Lear database
- Product costing in coordination with the production plant
- Cost determination and preparation of offers
- Create and continuously update the parts lifecycle record
- Negotiate change requests with the customer Mercedes‑Benz
- Commission prototypes/samples
- Ensure revenue realization
- Request and analyze comparison data from Lear International
- Prepare for and participate in final negotiations with the customer
- Serve as the customer's point of contact for any cost-related questions
- Execute change management according to customer guidelines
- Prepare and deliver presentations/project reviews internally and at the customer's site
- Document meetings and agreements
Requirements
- Technical or business degree (Bachelor's or Master's)
- Several years of professional experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry
- Independent and responsible working style
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Confident user of common Microsoft Office programs
- Flexible and highly committed
- Excellent English skills
- Experience negotiating with customers
