About the role

  • Represent the sales department's interests as a permanent member of each project's core team
  • Review inquiries, quotations and orders
  • Acquire follow-up orders by preparing comprehensive base offers and coordinating costs and unit prices with Development, including use of the central Lear database
  • Product costing in coordination with the production plant
  • Cost determination and preparation of offers
  • Create and continuously update the parts lifecycle record
  • Negotiate change requests with the customer Mercedes‑Benz
  • Commission prototypes/samples
  • Ensure revenue realization
  • Request and analyze comparison data from Lear International
  • Prepare for and participate in final negotiations with the customer
  • Serve as the customer's point of contact for any cost-related questions
  • Execute change management according to customer guidelines
  • Prepare and deliver presentations/project reviews internally and at the customer's site
  • Document meetings and agreements

Requirements

  • Technical or business degree (Bachelor's or Master's)
  • Several years of professional experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Independent and responsible working style
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Confident user of common Microsoft Office programs
  • Flexible and highly committed
  • Excellent English skills
  • Experience negotiating with customers
