About the role

  • Spearhead machine learning initiatives to generate and visualize a wide array of home décor items
  • Develop state-of-the-art algorithms for holistic redecoration: wallpaper, flooring, countertops, and more
  • Implement ML techniques to adapt and present décor in real-time based on user preferences and room dimensions
  • Collaborate closely with interior design experts, UX/UI designers, and development teams to refine models and enhance realism
  • Collect, clean, and prepare data and evaluation sets; build and run evaluations
  • Work on production deployment and infrastructure (gRPC, Kubernetes on AWS)
  • Drive product improvements and push Leap Tools' digital décor tools to new heights

Requirements

  • Passion for machine learning and AI
  • Strong foundation in computer science
  • Very comfortable coding in Python
  • Experience reading ML papers and implementing your own versions of them
  • Hands-on with data: collection, cleaning, and building evaluation sets
  • Able to tackle unsolved problems with minimal supervision after initial designs
  • Persistent and resilient through long experimentation cycles
  • Experience with PyTorch (mostly) and some TensorFlow
  • Experience with Python and Django
  • Familiarity with gRPC, Kubernetes on AWS
  • Interest in building products used by millions and collaborating with cross-functional teams
