About the role
- We are seeking a highly motivated and execution-focused professional to join our growing Data & Insights organization.
- Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Data Insights, you will be instrumental in driving the rapid development and scaling of business intelligence, reporting, and analytics solutions.
- This hands-on role involves designing and building high-impact dashboards, reports, and embedded analytics products for both internal teams and external clients.
- You will work with sophisticated analytical data models within a cloud data warehouse environment, applying best practices in data visualization, dashboard UX, and data storytelling to deliver measurable value.
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality business intelligence solutions, including interactive dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards, with a focus on rapid delivery and immediate business value.
- Develop and maintain embedded analytics solutions within customer-facing applications, utilizing platforms such as Bold BI and Reveal BI.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Engineering, and Client Success teams to translate complex business requirements into tangible, production-ready analytics deliverables.
- Construct and implement reusable data models, standardized dashboard templates, and reporting patterns within a cloud data environment to ensure scalability and accelerate future development cycles.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all analytics products by performing rigorous data validation, exploratory data analysis, and writing complex SQL queries to transform and verify datasets.
- Apply industry best practices in data visualization, dashboard UX, data storytelling, and performance optimization to create effective and user-friendly analytics tools.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to reporting, data visualization, and data quality, proposing pragmatic solutions that balance immediate needs with long-term scalability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for analytics assets and implementation patterns to support knowledge sharing, long-term maintainability, and user adoption.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related consulting role.
- Proven hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports with modern BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker); experience with embedded analytics tools like Bold BI or Reveal BI is a strong plus.
- Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries to transform and validate data.
- Experience working with analytical data models (e.g., star schemas) in a cloud data warehouse environment (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Solid understanding of data visualization best practices, dashboard UX, and the principles of effective data storytelling.
- Experience performing exploratory data analysis and rigorous validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with ERP systems, including experience interpreting reports and resolving systemic data errors.
- Previous experience working directly with senior data leadership on client-facing initiatives.
- Experience decreasing time-to-delivery through the implementation of standardized, template-driven builds.
- Proficiency in a programming language used for data analysis, such as Python (with Pandas) or R.
- Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience with data transformation tools (e.g., dbt) or other ETL/ELT platforms.
- Professional certifications in relevant BI platforms or cloud data warehouses.
