About the role
- Help shape the future of financial products by transforming traditional digital banking processes into efficient, scalable, and beautifully crafted experiences.
- Help define and evolve a unified visual language and interaction guidelines that strengthen brand consistency.
- Partner with other designers to extend and contribute patterns, components, and guidance to Lead’s design system.
- Work with product managers, engineers, and UX writers to deliver user-focused, impactful designs.
- Develop user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that balance user goals, business objectives, and technical constraints.
- Contribute to roadmap discussions, product thinking, and design documentation to help shape priorities and decisions.
- Test and validate design ideas with conceptual models and prototypes, ensuring usability and feasibility.
- Manage the product design lifecycle for features or product areas, from research and ideation to implementation and launch.
- Identify opportunities to improve the product experience and create solutions that meaningfully improve how users interact with financial technology.
- Integrate AI tools into the design process to accelerate synthesis, ideation, UX content development, and documentation while maintaining a high bar for quality and judgment.
- Uphold design best practices while looking for opportunities to improve workflows, collaboration, and design quality.
- Create products known for their ease of use, reliability, and elegant, cohesive design.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience with a strong focus on end-to-end design execution for web and mobile products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions with clear thinking, strong craft, and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in visual and interaction design, UX/UI, typography, information architecture, and prototyping.
- Experience owning features or product areas from concept to launch in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, breaking down complex problems, and delivering clear, thoughtful design solutions.
- Fluency in user-centered design principles and methodologies, with the ability to apply them in ways that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Ability to present ideas clearly, articulate design rationale, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
- Fluent in Figma, its prototyping tools, and modern product design workflows.
- Experience with AI-supported design workflows, including tools such as Figma AI, ChatGPT or Claude, Notion AI, AI-assisted research platforms, and generative UI tools for synthesis, exploration, content iteration, and documentation.
- Uses AI tools in accordance with company policies for data privacy, security, compliance, and confidentiality, with sound judgment about what inputs and outputs are appropriate for regulated product environments.
