About the role
- We are looking for a highly skilled Manual QA Engineer to join our High-Frequency Trading (HFT) team.
- Functional testing of our distributed trading system
- Collaborating closely with the development team and internal users (traders, analysts)
- Identifying and localizing errors and issues
- Maintaining the bug backlog
- Participating in release processes (optimization time-to-market, risk management)
- Setup and maintenance test environments
- Certification (set of checks related to the exchange specifics, collection of logs)
- Test solution modelling (test design)
- Writing Python scripts as needed
Requirements
- Advanced experience in manual testing of high-load applications
- Strong theoretical knowledge of testing methodologies
- Proficiency in UNIX systems (Linux)
- Experience with Python/bash scripting and SQL, Git
- Knowledge of WebSocket and HTTP protocols
- Understanding of REST principles
- Analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problems
- Independence, responsibility, and proactive attitude
- Experience in trading system (integration with exchanges)
- Optional: experience with message brokers
- Optional: SBE/FIX protocols
