• Lead end-to-end development of enterprise workforce analytics and dashboards (attrition, internal mobility, retirement risk, etc.) from scoping to executive delivery.
• Proactively identify emerging workforce trends and opportunities to address business challenges through data-driven insights, partnering with HR and leadership to define and prioritize analytic questions.
• Build and validate advanced statistical and AI/ML models (e.g., forecasting, clustering, risk scoring, NLP for open-text) to anticipate workforce trends and surface actionable insights.
• Write robust SQL to source, transform, and validate datasets from Oracle/LAPIS; partner with IT to define requirements and improve data pipelines.
• Design user-friendly, scalable dashboards in BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau, etc. and drive visualization best practices.
• Serve as SME on HR data structures and metric definitions; codify and maintain the metric catalog, data dictionary, and analytical methods within the governance framework.
• Translate complex analysis into concise, decision-ready narratives for laboratory leadership; brief stakeholders and recommend actions.
• Mentor analysts on modeling, visualization, and data storytelling; champion analytic best practices and reproducibility.
• Collaborate across HR, Legal, Lab leadership, and IT to ensure accuracy, access, and security of HR data products.

HR Information Analyst

IT Support

• Provide first level customer support by responding to help desk inquiries submitted by Human Resource application users, including external applicants.
• Provide technical and functional assistance for HR information systems, conduct system testing, and facilitate training sessions.
• Respond to end user inquiries received via phone, email, or ServiceNow tickets; investigate and document solution to issues.
• If the solution is not immediately apparent, perform initial troubleshooting and diagnosis, and collaborate with IT staff or Business Analysts as needed.
• Provide strong partnership to HR, Payroll and IT teammates to develop and adapt help desk strategies and processes to ensure seamless integration of services and support.
• Develop, maintain and work to improve end-user system training and documentation.
• Monitor and report monthly help desk metrics, including call volumes, problem resolutions, and enhancement requests; collect statistical data for management review.

Systems Engineer

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and recommend system enhancements.
• Serve as a Product Owner for LMS features to create and maintain product roadmap and backlog.
• Administer and configure the enterprise LMS, including user management, course setup, content uploads, and system updates.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for LMS-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving user support tickets via the help desk.
• Document processes, system configurations, and user guides to support training and onboarding.
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and ensure data integrity and security.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams on new features, bug fixes, integrations, and technical support.
• Generate and analyze reports and system metrics.
• Write test plans and conduct test cases for enhancements, new features and integrations within the LMS environment.
• Provide training and support for end-users and administrators as needed.

Senior Systems Engineer – Active Clearance Required

• Provide key communication from the US government (USG) program office back to the LLNL Space Science and Security Program (SSSP).
• Advise LLNL on the priorities and status of the USG program office and ensure close coordination between LLNL program developments and our customer’s needs.
• Provide advanced knowledge and technical support in one or more spacecraft and or/missile defense subsystems, such as: attitude and orbital controls, propulsion, solar array design, electrical power systems, avionics, data handling and on-board processing, thermal, structures and mechanisms, telemetry, tracking, and control (TT&C), RF communications, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) payloads, and/or electro-optical payloads.
• Conduct various comprehensive and complex analyses of spacecraft and missile defense effectiveness.
• Collaborate and interface directly with management and external sponsors to communicate technical milestones and solicit input from technical leaders in the space program.

Senior Systems Engineer, Program Office Liaison – Active Clearance Required

Graphics Designer

• Lead the Creative Services Design Team, planning and directing the production of complex design, multimedia, and digital communication projects
• Partner with Group Leader to oversee highly complex projects, assess training and development needs for team, and collaborate with customers across the institution
• Provide time and budget estimates and coordinate the work of the team to meet customer expectations, budgets, and deadlines
• Identify and implement new tools and technologies, areas for increased emphasis in training and development, and contribute feedback to annual performance appraisals for team members
• Respond, consult, and partner with customers, working with your team to define, develop, and establish objectives to meet the design specification requirements for projects
• Lead, manage, and oversee design concepts, graphics, multimedia, and content strategy to represent the science and technology at LLNL and provide analysis of the successful completion of those products based on quality, timeline, and budget
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to maintain consistent high-quality designs, applying unique, and creative approaches that meet customer and audience needs
• Collaboratively strengthen partnerships across internal and external teams of web administrators and developers, writers and editors, illustrators, and visualization, multimedia, and photography professionals to promote TID products and services
• Provide in-depth consultation and feedback related to development of highly sensitive and complex multifaceted projects that include design components, frequently responsible for initial customer contact and collaborative communication with team, Group Leader, and Division Leader

Graphic Design, Team Lead

• We’re looking for a Workforce Analyst to lead HR’s data governance efforts and help build the foundation for scalable, trustworthy analytics.
• This person will create and maintain the data dictionary, support documentation standards, and analyze workforce data across domains including headcount, attrition, hiring, and survey results.
• The role also involves working closely with cross-functional partners to gather reporting requirements, support dashboard development, and ensure our HR data assets are well-defined, accurate, and ready for broader use — including self-service and future AI applications.
• This position is in the Human Resources (HR) Directorate.
• This position offers a full-time off-site work schedule. You will collaborate and contribute through virtual interactions. Occasional on-site presence to meet business needs may be required.
• This is a Flexible Term appointment 2 years in length.
• You’ll be the connective tissue helping teams speak the same data language.
