About the role

  • Process payroll for employees accurately and on schedule using Workday.
  • Review payroll data including hours worked, deductions, bonuses, and commissions.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, employee information, and tax documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams regarding employee changes, benefits, and compensation updates.
  • Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as needed.
  • Manage garnishments, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of payroll processing experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday payroll systems required.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and payroll best practices in the US and Canada.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other payroll-related tools.
