About the role
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on schedule using Workday.
- Review payroll data including hours worked, deductions, bonuses, and commissions.
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain and update payroll records, employee information, and tax documentation.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams regarding employee changes, benefits, and compensation updates.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as needed.
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of payroll processing experience.
- Hands-on experience with Workday payroll systems required.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and payroll best practices in the US and Canada.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other payroll-related tools.
