About the role
- Reviewing tickets for compliance support raised by lawyers and operations staff
- Understanding and applying our defined processes to deliver on key requests
- Working with colleagues across our operations teams to support on the day-to-day functioning of the business
- Providing compliance and risk advice on matters including, but not limited to:
- Conflicts of interest
- Confidentiality points
- Cyber risk
- AML-related checks
- Onboarding and KYC work
- Sanctions
- Identifying any significant trends in compliance risks and flagging them to the business
Requirements
- You have at least 3 years’ experience working in a Compliance team at an existing law firm in the UK (essential)
- You are adaptable, energetic and solutions-orientated in your approach to work
- You have been trained as a lawyer or have completed some period of recognised legal training
- You are analytical
- You have high standards of professional excellence
- You are a team player and strong communicator within team environments
