About the role

  • Provides administrative support to internal and external planning Counsel and the Program Delivery team
  • Ensures accurate information during all phases of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program development and delivery process
  • Supports special projects related to on-demand and/or digital learning programs
  • Coordinates the operation of the Registration Desk for in-person programs
  • Supports program operations through the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Coordinates travel arrangements for out-of-town presenters
  • Manages communications and support for licensees, speakers, and presenters
  • Processes program evaluations and tracks attendance statistics
  • Prepares program materials, notices, and correspondence in a timely manner
  • Assists with the maintenance and sustainment of the CPD Presenter Resource Centre
  • Processes presenter expense reports and invoices for payment

Requirements

  • Completion of a 3-year college program in Administration, Business, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in general administration in the legal profession or a related environment
  • Knowledge of Law Society practices, procedures and protocols
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Customer service skills
  • Negotiation skills with tact and diplomacy
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Project coordination, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Interpersonal, oral, and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
