About the role
- Provides administrative support to internal and external planning Counsel and the Program Delivery team
- Ensures accurate information during all phases of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program development and delivery process
- Supports special projects related to on-demand and/or digital learning programs
- Coordinates the operation of the Registration Desk for in-person programs
- Supports program operations through the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Coordinates travel arrangements for out-of-town presenters
- Manages communications and support for licensees, speakers, and presenters
- Processes program evaluations and tracks attendance statistics
- Prepares program materials, notices, and correspondence in a timely manner
- Assists with the maintenance and sustainment of the CPD Presenter Resource Centre
- Processes presenter expense reports and invoices for payment
Requirements
- Completion of a 3-year college program in Administration, Business, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in general administration in the legal profession or a related environment
- Knowledge of Law Society practices, procedures and protocols
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Customer service skills

- Project coordination, prioritization, and time management skills
- Interpersonal, oral, and written communication, and presentation skills
- Organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
