About the role
- Represent clients in removal proceedings before EOIR
- Prepare and file motions, applications for relief, and legal briefs
- Handle appeals to the BIA and, if qualified, to federal courts
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
Requirements
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience practicing immigration law
- Strong legal writing skills
- Knowledge of family-based immigration matters
- Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state; New York Bar preferred
