About the role
- Represent clients in a wide range of employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, E-2, EB-1, EB-2, R-1, PERM labor certifications, and NIWs
- Advise employers and employees on visa options, compliance issues, and strategy
- Prepare and file petitions, applications, and supporting documents with USCIS, DOL, and other relevant agencies
- Provide clients with clear legal advice on complex immigration matters and ensure they understand their rights and options
- Monitor and manage deadlines for a high-volume caseload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Stay current with changes in employment-based immigration laws, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to deliver comprehensive legal solutions tailored to client needs
- Participate in firm-wide training programs to advance knowledge and expertise in immigration law
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in any state (New York Bar preferred)
- Prior experience in employment-based immigration law is preferred
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment
