About the role

  • Sell trade show booths, sponsorships, conference speaking, and business development sponsorship opportunities
  • Sell sponsorships for multiple ALM Events
  • Develop and close new business – Meet revenue goal
  • Oversee the sales process from initial contact through the event stage
  • Build solid business relationships with accounts.
  • Create and maintain a database of potential leads in Salesforce
  • Create and present creative sponsorship opportunities to meet client needs
  • Coordinate payments
  • Provide ongoing support during shows

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of sales experience, event sales experience in legal a plus
  • Top-notch strategic and tactical selling talent
  • Establish a list of client relationships with law firms and legal vendors
  • Ability to establish relationships at all levels of the organization including the most senior levels
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills essential
  • Proactive, independent, tenacious and goal-oriented.
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel, Word, Salesforce, and PowerPoint a big plus
  • High energy and self-motivated
  • Excellent phone skills/presentation and the ability to develop relationships
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to work independently and as a team
  • A strong sales closing ability, the desire to succeed, and a proven record of success are a must
  • Able to succeed in an energetic, fast-paced environment
