About the role
- Sell trade show booths, sponsorships, conference speaking, and business development sponsorship opportunities
- Sell sponsorships for multiple ALM Events
- Develop and close new business – Meet revenue goal
- Oversee the sales process from initial contact through the event stage
- Build solid business relationships with accounts.
- Create and maintain a database of potential leads in Salesforce
- Create and present creative sponsorship opportunities to meet client needs
- Coordinate payments
- Provide ongoing support during shows
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-4 years of sales experience, event sales experience in legal a plus
- Top-notch strategic and tactical selling talent
- Establish a list of client relationships with law firms and legal vendors
- Ability to establish relationships at all levels of the organization including the most senior levels
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills essential
- Proactive, independent, tenacious and goal-oriented.
- Must be highly proficient in Excel, Word, Salesforce, and PowerPoint a big plus
- High energy and self-motivated
- Excellent phone skills/presentation and the ability to develop relationships
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and as a team
- A strong sales closing ability, the desire to succeed, and a proven record of success are a must
- Able to succeed in an energetic, fast-paced environment
