About the role
- Collaborate with sales leaders to develop sales forecasts, quotas, and targets.
- Work with sales leaders to define sales territories and ensure the equitable distribution of opportunities among sales reps.
- Help set individual and team sales goals that are aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Define and document the sales process to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Implement and optimize sales tools and technologies (like CRM systems) to automate workflows.
- Ensure the accuracy and cleanliness of sales data within the CRM and other sales-related platforms.
- Monitor and report on individual, team, and organizational sales performance against set metrics and targets.
- Regularly assess key performance indicators (KPIs) like conversion rates and win/loss ratios to identify areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain sales dashboards to provide leadership with actionable insights.
- Work closely with marketing teams to align lead generation efforts and provide feedback.
- Coordinate with finance teams to ensure accurate sales forecasting and revenue reporting.
- Provide feedback on product issues and coordinate product training for the sales team.
- Assist in the design and implementation of sales compensation plans that motivate sales performance.
- Ensure the accurate calculation of commissions and incentives for the sales team.
- Participate in reviewing and approving deals, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Continuously monitor the sales pipeline to identify bottlenecks or risks that could impact revenue.
- Ensure that all sales operations comply with company policy and regulations.
Requirements
- 2+ years relevant experience, with solid knowledge of:
- - Budgeting & Forecasting methodologies and systems
- - Excel modelling and financial reporting
- - SaaS/recurring revenue business models
- - High attention to detail; works accurately and quickly and has good organizational skills.
- - Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills.
- - Ability to set and meet deadlines including ability to manage multiple tasks to completion at the same time.
- - Strong project management skills
- - A strong desire to keep learning new things!
