About the role
- Manage roadway and highway projects from planning and design through delivery, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams, clients, and external stakeholders to support the successful execution of transportation and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans while monitoring progress and addressing potential risks or delays.
- Oversee preparation and review of engineering plans, technical reports, and project documentation to ensure quality and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing project updates, addressing concerns, and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Support proposal development, scope definition, and project planning for new and ongoing transportation initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers, designers, and field personnel to ensure project objectives are met.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the lifecycle of each project.
Requirements
- Minimally a completed Bachelor's degree, ideally within an accredited Engineering program
- 10+ years of experience overall
- Very strong and recent Roadway/Highway Engineering & Project Management expertise
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) and presentations skills
