About the role
- Position overview: Experienced Litigation Paralegal supporting plaintiff-side personal injury litigation; hybrid role with 3 days remote per week.
- Assist attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation, from case intake through trial and settlement.
- Draft, prepare, and file pleadings, complaints, discovery requests/responses, motions, and other legal documents.
- Manage case files, maintain deadlines, and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
- Coordinate and track service of process, subpoenas, and filings with state and federal courts.
- Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy.
- Review, summarize, and organize medical records, accident reports, deposition transcripts, and discovery materials.
- Prepare trial exhibits, witness lists, and other trial-related documents.
- Communicate with clients to provide case updates and gather necessary information.
- Liaise with experts, medical providers, and investigators as needed.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation and attend trials when required.
Requirements
- Experience as a Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in personal injury law and plaintiff-side representation
- Hands-on experience preparing and filing lawsuits and supporting attorneys throughout all stages of litigation
- Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Ability to conduct legal and factual research and to review and summarize medical records and discovery materials
